MY STORY
Massage therapy is a powerful tool for those suffering from chronic pain. Allison’s interest in
massage began when her dad, suffering from chronic pain, experienced positive effects from
massage therapy. Allison’s first-hand experiences and journey with massage modalities resulted
in significant personal benefits for her digestion, immune system, mobility, and decreased
anxiety. Her enthusiasm for helping others on their health journey is irresistible!

Allison holds a B.AS degree in Exercise Science from the University of Minnesota-Duluth and
A.A.S degree in East-West Therapeutic Bodywork from CenterPoint. Allison has a passion and
a history of working in health care. While attending CenterPoint, she worked as a hospice home
health aide.

In Allison’s free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Will, and their son, Liam. She
loves spending time at her family’s cabin, going hiking, cooking, and reading.
WHAT IS SHIATSU MASSAGE
Shiatsu is therapeutic bodywork from Japan based on traditional Chinese Medicine principles
combined with modern anatomy and physiology. Shiatsu is non-invasive, performed without oils
through light comfortable clothing, and uses soothing, kneading, pressing, tapping, and
stretching techniques.
